Hi flat hunters, We are looking for a new flatmate in our 4-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom in our Avondale home! The current occupant of the room is staying with us but moving into the master bedroom, so his room is up for grabs. The room is available now, but move-in date can be somewhat flexible for the right person. The room is a double-sized bedroom that is sunny and upstairs. The bedroom itself is not equipped with furniture, but there is a built-in wardrobe. You would be sharing the bathroom with two other flatmates. The rent is $200 per week (excluding shared expenses), with stability guaranteed because the landlord is a family member of the head tenant.

Maud: ECE teacher of French origin, swimmer, and space enthusiast, interested in world events and in nerdy topics.

Preferred Flatmates
We are seeking someone in their early 20s to early 30s: a student, a working professional, someone on a working holiday visa…. We are flexible! What is very important for us is to find someone who is VERY clean, tidy, and considerate — fun without being a party animal! Ideally, we are looking for someone who is looking to move in for the long term, but we may consider a fixed-term stay of at least six months for the right candidate. The house is conveniently located within walking distance of the Avondale train station, with bus stops directly opposite the house (for routes 195) or in less than 5 minutes' walk away (for routes 22R, 22N , 67A, 191 and 67B). If you have a car, SH16 and SH20 are nearby and easily accessible. Off-street parking is negotiable, but on-street parking is perfectly abundant either directly in front of the house or on two side roads each less than 1 minute's walk away. Additionally, Pak’nSave, Oakley Creek, and Unitec are all within walking distance, as are several parks.
